About me
Sussie
I have been a fully registered and practicing Psychologist since 2000, with experience in both the public and private sector. I have experience in working with victims, offenders, emergency personnel, education staff, NDIS participants and the general population to address a variety of issues, predominantly trauma based, ranging from childhood abuse to adult and workplace trauma. Through affirming and trauma informed counselling, my support focuses on building capacity, agency, self regulation, and self compassion, while aiding clients in working through the issues they are experiencing. I am a Member of the Australian Psychological Society, Fellow of the College of Forensic Psychologists, SIRA accredited psychologist and an EMDR Association Australia Accredited Practitioner.
I respectfully acknowledge the Darramuragal people, the Traditional Owners of the country on which I work and pay respect to the First Nations Peoples and their elders, past, present and emerging.
All people of diverse ethnicity, faith, lifestyle choice, sexual orientation and gender identity are valued, respected and welcome.
